၁၃။ ေလာက၀ဂၢ Chapter 13

Chapter 13

၁၆၇။ ဟီနံ ဓမၼံ န ေသေ၀ယ်၊ ပမာေဒန န သံ၀ေသ။
မိစၧာဒိ႒ႎ န ေသေ၀ယ်၊ န သိယာ ေလာက၀ၯုေနာ။

၁၆၇။ ကာမဂုဏ္ အယုတ္တရားကို မမွီ၀ဲရာ၊ ေမ့ေမ့ ေလ်ာ့ေလ်ာ့ မေနရာ၊ မွားေသာအယူကို မယူရာ၊ ေလာက ႀကီးပြားေရးအတြက္ သက္သက္မျဖစ္ရာ။

167. One should not live in lowly quality life (sensualities), one should not live on heedlessness, one should not act on wrong views, and one should not sink into the world.

၁၆၈။ ဥတၱိေ႒ နပၸမေဇၨယ်၊ ဓမၼံ သုစရိတံ စေရ။
ဓမၼစာရီ သုခံ ေသတိ၊ အသၼႎ ေလာေက ပရမွိ စ။

၁၆၉။ ဓမၼံ စေရ သုစရိတံ၊ န နံ ဒုစၥရိတံ စေရ။
ဓမၼစာရီ သုခံ ေသတိ၊ အသၼႎ ေလာေက ပရမွိ စ။

၁၆၈။ ဆြမ္းခံ၀တ္၌ မေမ့ေလ်ာ့ရာ၊ ေကာင္းစြာ က်င့္အပ္ေသာ အက်င့္တရားကို က်င့္ရာ၏၊ တရားကိုက်င့္ေသာသူသည္ ဤေလာက၌လည္းေကာင္း၊ တမလြန္ေလာက၌ လည္းေကာင္း ခ်မ္းသာစြာ ေနရ၏။

၁၆၉။ သုစ႐ုိက္တရားကို က်င့္ရာ၏၊ ဒုစ႐ုိက္တရားကို မက်င့္ရာ၊ တရားကို က်င့္ေသာသူသည္ ဤေလာက၌ လည္းေကာင္း၊ တမလြန္ေလာက၌လည္းေကာင္း ခ်မ္းသာစြာ ေနရ၏။

168. One should be attentive in standing for alms, follow Dhamma, which is good conduct. One, who lives with Dhamma, has joy in this world and in the next.

169. One should follow Dhamma which is good conduct, not which is poor conduct. One who lives with Dhamma has joy in this world and in the next.

၁၇၀။ ယထာ ပုဗၺဳဠကံ ပေႆ၊ ယထာ ပေႆ မရီစိကံ။
ဧ၀ံ ေလာကံ အေ၀ကၡႏၲံ၊ မစၥဳရာဇာ န ပႆတိ။

၁၇၀။ ေရပြက္ကို ႐ႈျမင္ရသကဲ့သို႔လည္းေကာင္း၊ တံလွ်ပ္ကို ႐ႈျမင္ရသကဲ့သို႔ လည္းေကာင္း ဤအတူ ခႏၶာငါးပါး ဟူေသာ ေလာကကို ႐ႈၾကည့္သူကို ေသမင္းသည္မျမင္ႏုိင္။

170. One who looks the world as a bubble, as a mirage, so also sees the body, the assemblage of five aggregates as an illusion of an appearance; the King of Death has no power over that person.

၁၇၁။ ဧထ ပႆထိမံ ေလာကံ၊ စိတၱံ ရာဇရထူပမံ။
ယတၳ ဗာလာ ၀ိသီဒႏၲိ၊ နတၳိ သေဂၤါ ၀ိဇာနတံ။

၁၇၁။ လာၾကကုန္ေလာ့ ရတနာခုနစ္ပါးျဖင့္ ဆန္းၾကယ္ေသာ မင္းစီးရထားလွ်င္ ဥပမာ႐ွိေသာ အ၀တ္တန္ဆာတို႔ျဖင့္ ဆန္းၾကယ္ေသာ ဤခႏၶာငါးပါးတည္းဟူေသာ ေလာကကို႐ႈၾကကုန္ေလာ့၊ ယင္းေလာက၌ မိုက္သူတုိ႔သည္ နစ္ျမဳပ္ၾကကုန္၏၊ ပညာ႐ွိတို႔အား ကပ္ျငိတြယ္တာမႈသည္မ႐ွိ။

171. Come and look at this world (five aggregates), like a decorated royal chariot, wherein fools sink in it. The wise have no attachment to it.

၁၇၂။ ေယာ စ ပုေဗၺ ပမဇၨိတြာ၊ ပစၧာ ေသာ နပၸမဇၨကိ။
ေသာမံ ေလာကံ ပဘာေသတိ၊ အဗၻာ မုေတၱာ၀ စႏၵိမာ။

၁၇၂။ ေ႐ွးငယ္စဥ္အခါက ကုသိုလ္၌ ေမ့ေလ်ာ့ခဲ့၍ ေနာင္ၾကီးျပင္းေသာအခါ၌ မေမ့ေလ်ာ့ေသာသူသည္ တိမ္တိုက္မွလြတ္ေသာ လကဲ့သို႔ ဤေလာကကို မဂ္ဉာဏ္ေရာင္ျဖင့္ ထြန္းလင္း ေတာက္ပေစ၏။

172. One who was unwise and negligent in early days but later found wisdom, brightens up this world like that of the moon when free from clouds.

၁၇၃။ ယႆ ပါပံ ကတံ ကမၼံ၊ ကုသေလန ပိဓီယတိ။
ေသာမံ ေလာကံ ပဘာေသတိ၊ အဗၻာ မုေတၱာ၀ စႏၵိမာ။

၁၇၃။ မိမိျပဳခဲ့ေသာမေကာင္းမႈ အကုသိုလ္ကံကို အရဟတၱမဂ္ကုသိုလ္ျဖင့္ ဖံုးအုပ္သူသည္ တိမ္တိုက္မွလြတ္ေသာ လကဲ့သို႔ ဤေလာကကို အရဟတၱဉာဏ္ေရာင္ျဖင့္ ထြန္းလင္းေတာက္ပေစ၏။

173. One who uses good deeds to cover misdeeds he has done before, brightens up this world like that of the moon when free from clouds.

၁၇၄။ အႏၶဘူေတာ အယံ ေလာေကာ၊ တႏုေကတၳ ၀ိပႆတိ။
သကုေဏာ ဇာလမုေတၱာ၀၊ အေပၸါ သဂၢါယ ဂစၧတိ။

၁၇၄။ ဤလူအေပါင္းသည္ ပညာမ်က္ေစ့မ႐ွိသျဖင့္ အကန္းအတိသာ ျဖစ္၏။ ဤေလာက၌ အနည္းငယ္ မွ်ေသာသူသည္သာ အနိစၥစေသာ သေဘာအားျဖင့္ ႐ႈျမင္ႏုိင္၏။ ပိုက္ကြန္မွလြတ္ေသာ ငွက္သည္ နည္းပါးသကဲ့သို႔ လူအနည္းငယ္မွ်သာ နတ္ရြာနိဗၺာန္သို႔ ေရာက္ႏုိင္၏။

174. Most of the people in the world are blind and only few here can see insightfully. Just as only few birds can escape from a net, only a few can go to heaven (Deva planes) (the Nibbana).

၁၇၅။ ဟံသာဒိစၥပေထ ယႏၲိ၊ အာကာေသ ယႏၲိ ဣဒၶိယာ။
နီယႏၲိ ဓီရာ ေလာကမွာ၊ ေဇတြာ မာရံ သ၀ါဟိနႎ။

၁၇၅။ ဟသၤာတို႔သည္ ေနမင္းလမ္းေၾကာင္း ေကာင္းကင္ခရီး၌ သြားကုန္၏၊ တန္ခိုး႐ွင္တို႔သည္ ေကာင္းကင္၌ သြားကုန္၏၊ ပညာ႐ွိတို႔သည္ စစ္သည္ဗိုလ္ပါႏွင့္တကြေသာ မာရ္မင္းကိုေအာင္၍ ေလာကမွ ထြက္ေျမာက္ကုန္၏။

175. Swans go along the path of the sun. Persons with miraculous power travel through space. The wise are led out of the world, having conquered bedevilments of Mara and his armies.

၁၇၆။ ဧကံ ဓမၼံ အတီတႆ၊ မုသာ၀ါဒိႆ ဇႏၲဳေနာ။
၀ိတိဏၰပရေလာကႆ၊ နတၳိ ပါပံ အကာရိယံ။

၁၇၆။ သစၥာတရားတစ္ခုကိုလြန္၍ မုသားစကားကိုဆိုေလ့႐ွိေသာ ေနာင္ဘ၀အတြက္ ဆင္ျခင္စဥ္းစားျခင္း အလ်င္း မ႐ွိေသာသူအား မျပဳႏုိင္မည့္ မေကာင္းမႈအကုသိုလ္ မည္သည္မ႐ွိ။

176. One who usually breaks his own precepts, who speaks falsehood, who has turned the back on the world beyond, will not refrain from any misdeeds.

၁၇၇။ န ေ၀ ကဒရိယာ ေဒ၀ေလာကံ ၀ဇႏၲိ၊ ဗာလာ ဟေ၀ နပၸသံသႏၲိ ဒါနံ။
ဓီေရာ စ ဒါနံ အႏုေမာဒမာေနာ၊ ေတေန၀ ေသာ ေဟာတိ သုခီ ပရတၳ။

၁၇၇။ ေစးနဲ၀န္တိုသူတို႔သည္ နတ္ျပည္သို႔မေရာက္ႏုိင္ၾကကုန္၊ လူမိုက္တို႔သည္ အလွဴဒါနကို မခ်ီးမြမ္းၾကကုန္၊ ပညာ႐ွိသည္သာ အလွဴဒါနကို ၀မ္းေျမာက္ႏုိင္၏၊ ထို ၀မ္းေျမာက္မႈေၾကာင့္သာလွ်င္ ထိုပညာ႐ွိသည္ တမလြန္ဘ၀၌ ခ်မ္းသာရ၏။

177. The misers do not go to heaven (Deva plane). The foolish do not applaud giving charity, but the noble find joy in giving; hence indeed, it becomes blessed in higher worlds.

၁၇၈။ ပထဗ်ာ ဧကရေဇၨန၊ သဂၢႆ ဂမေနန ၀ါ။
သဗၺေလာကာဓိပေစၥန၊ ေသာတာပတၱိဖလံ ၀ရံ။

၁၇၈။ ေျမတျပင္လံုး၌ ဧကရာဇ္မင္းျဖစ္ရသည္ထက္ လည္းေကာင္း၊ နတ္ျပည္ ျဗဟၼာ့ျပည္သို႔ ေရာက္ရသည္ထက္ လည္းေကာင္း၊ တစ္ေလာကလံုးကို အစိုးရသည္ထက္ လည္းေကာင္း ေသာတာပန္ျဖစ္ရျခင္းသည္ ျမတ္၏။

178. It is better to be the Fruit of the Stream Attainment (Sotapatti-magga), the initial stage of Buddhist realization that leads to Nibbana, than sole sovereignty over the earth, or the journey to heaven, than the lordship supreme over the worlds.
၁၂။ အတၱ၀ဂၢ Chapter 12

Chapter 12

၁၅၇။ အတၱာနေဥၥ ပိယံ ဇညာ၊ ရေကၡယ် နံ သုရကၡိတံ။
တိဏၰံ အညတရံ ယာမံ၊ ပဋိဇေဂၢယ် ပ႑ိေတာ။

၁၅၇။ မိမိကိုယ္ကို ခ်စ္အပ္၏ဟုသိပါမူ ထိုမိမိကိုယ္ကို ေကာင္းစြာေစာင့္ေ႐ွာက္ျခင္းျဖင့္ ေစာင့္ေ႐ွာက္ရာ၏၊ ပညာ ႐ွိသူသည္ အ႐ြယ္သံုးပါးတို႔တြင္ တစ္ပါးပါးေသာအ႐ြယ္၌ လံု႔လထုတ္ကာ သုတ္သင္ရာ၏။

157. One who knows self is dear will guard oneself, with diligence. The wise one would look after himself during one of three watches of his life time (youth, middle age and old age).

၁၅၈။ အတၱာနေမ၀ ပဌမံ၊ ပတိ႐ူေပ နိေ၀သေယ။
အထညမႏုသာေသယ်၊ န ကိလိေႆယ် ပ႑ိေတာ။

၁၅၈။ ေ႐ွးဦးစြာသာလွ်င္ မိမိကိုယ္ကို သင့္ေလ်ာ္ေသာအက်င့္၌ တည္ေစရာ၏၊ ထို႔ေနာက္မွ သူတစ္ပါးကို ဆံုးမရာ၏၊ ပညာ႐ွိသည္ သူတစ္ပါးကဲ့ရဲ့ျခင္းျဖင့္ မညစ္ႏြမ္းေစရာ။

158. One should first establish oneself in what is proper practice; then one would advise others, thus the wise one would not suffer.

၁၅၉။ အတၱာနေဥၥ တထာ ကယိရာ၊ ယထာညမႏုသာသတိ။
သုဒေႏၲာ၀တ ဒေမထ၊ အတၱာ ဟိ ကိရ ဒုဒၵေမာ။

၁၅၉။ သူတစ္ပါးကို ဆံုးမေသာနည္းအတိုင္း မိမိကိုယ္တိုင္ လိုက္နာျပဳက်င့္ရာ၏၊ မိမိကိုယ္တိုင္ ယဥ္ေက်းျပီးေသာ္မွသာ သူတစ္ပါးကိုဆံုးမရာ၏၊ မိမိကိုယ္ကို ယဥ္ေက်းေအာင္ ဆံုးမရျခင္းသည္ ခဲယဥ္းလွစြတကား။

159. One would make oneself as one teaches others to be, one should master self-control, difficult indeed is self-control.

၁၆၀။ အတၱာ ဟိ အတၱေနာ နာေထာ၊ ေကာ ဟိ နာေထာ ပေရာ သိယာ။
အတၱနာ ဟိ သုဒေႏၲန၊ နာထံ လဘတိ ဒုလႅဘံ။

၁၆၀။ မိမိသည္သာ မိမိ၏ကိုးစားရာျဖစ္၏၊ သူတစ္ပါးသည္ မိမိ၏ကိုးစားရာ အဘယ္မွာျဖစ္ႏုိင္အံ့နည္း၊ မိမိသည္ ေကာင္းစြာယဥ္ေက်းသျဖင့္ ရေရာက္ႏုိင္ခဲေသာ အရဟတၱဖိုလ္ကို ရႏုိင္၏။

160. One self is master of oneself. Who else would be the master of self? With oneself well controlled, one can attain enlightenment (Arahantship).

၁၆၁။ အတၱနာ ဟိ ကတံ ပါပံ၊ အတၱဇံ အတၱသမၻ၀ံ။
အဘိမတၳတိ ဒုေမၼဓံ၊ ၀ဇိရံ၀သၼမယံ မဏႎ။

၁၆၁။ ေက်ာက္မွျဖစ္ေသာစိန္သည္ မိမိမွီရာေက်ာက္ကို ထြင္းေဖာက္ ဖ်က္ဆီးသကဲ့သို႔ မိမိျပဳအပ္ေသာ မိမိမွျဖစ္ေသာ မိမိေၾကာင့္ျဖစ္ေသာမေကာင္းမႈသည္ မိမိျဖစ္ရာ ပညာမဲ့သူကို ဖ်က္ဆီး၏။

161. The evil done by one, is born of oneself, is produced in oneself, and that crushes the foolish as a diamond does a gemstone where it is embedded.

၁၆၂။ ယႆ အစၥႏၲဒုႆိလ်ံ၊ မာလု၀ါ သာလမိေ၀ါတၳတံ။
ကေရာတိ ေသာ တထတၱာနံ၊ ယထာ နံ ဣစၧတီ ဒိေသာ။

၁၆၂။ မာေလာႏြယ္သည္ မွီရာသစ္ပင္ကို လႊမ္းမိုးရစ္ပတ္သကဲ့သို႔ စင္စစ္သီလမ႐ွိေသာသူ၏ အျဖစ္တည္းဟူေသာ တဏွာအလႊမ္းခံရသူသည္ ရန္သူအလို႐ွိတိုင္း မိမိအက်ဳိးမဲ့ကို မိမိကိုယ္တိုင္ပင္ ျပဳလုပ္ေလ၏။

162. As a creeper over-spreads and entangles a Maluva creeper, a man's wickedness that grows in him, when it is very great, brings him to that state where his enemy wishes him to be.

၁၆၃။ သုကရာနိ အသာဓူနိ၊ အတၱေနာ အဟိတာနိ စ။
ယံ ေ၀ ဟိတဥၥ သာဓုဥၥ၊ တံ ေ၀ ပရမဒုကၠရံ။

၁၆၃။ အျပစ္႐ွိ၍ မိမိ၏အက်ဳိးစီးပြားမ႐ွိကုန္ေသာ အမႈတို႔ကို ျပဳလြယ္ကုန္၏၊ အျပစ္ကင္း၍ အက်ဳိးစီးပြား႐ွိေသာ အမႈကို အလြန္ျပဳႏုိင္ခဲ၏။

163. It is easy to do what is bad and harmful to oneself; what is good and beneficial is very difficult to do.

၁၆၄။ ေယာ သာသနံ အရဟတံ၊ အရိယာနံ ဓမၼဇီ၀ိနံ။
ပဋိေကၠာသတိ ဒုေမၼေဓာ၊ ဒိ႒ႎ နိႆာယ ပါပိကံ။
ဖလာနိ က႒ကေႆ၀၊ အတၱဃာတာယ ဖလ’တိ။

၁၆၄။ ပညာမဲ့သူသည္ ယုတ္မာေသာ မိစၧာအယူကို အမွီျပဳ၍ ပူေဇာ္အထူးကို ခံထိုက္ကုန္ေသာ တရားသျဖင့္ အသက္ေမြးကုန္ေသာ အရိယာပုဂၢဳိလ္တို႔၏ အဆံုးအမကို တားျမစ္၏၊ ၀ါးသီးတို႔သည္ ၀ါးပင္ကို သတ္ရန္အလို႔ငွါ သီးကုန္သကဲ့သို႔ ထိုပုဂၢဳိလ္၏ မိစၧာအယူသည္ မိမိကိုယ္ကို သတ္ရန္အလို႔ငွါသာ ျဖစ္၏။

164. Who is not wise because of his detrimental view, obstructs the instruction of the Arahants who are virtuous and noble, and produces his own destruction, like the fruits of a bamboo which lead to the plant's death.

၁၆၅။ အတၱနာ ဟိ ကတံ ပါပံ၊ အတၱနာ သံကိလိႆတိ။
အတၱနာ အကတံ ပါပံ၊ အတၱနာ၀ ၀ိသုဇၩတိ။
သုဒၶီ အသုဒၶိ ပစၥတံၱ၊ နာေညာ အညံ ၀ိေသာဓေယ။

၁၆၅။ မေကာင္းမႈကို မိမိျပဳခဲ့လွ်င္ မိမိသည္ပင္ ညစ္ႏြမ္းရ၏၊ မေကာင္းမႈကို မိမိမျပဳခဲ့လွ်င္ မိမိသည္ပင္စင္ၾကယ္၏၊ စင္ၾကယ္ေသာ ကုသိုလ္ႏွင့္ မစင္ၾကယ္ေသာ အကုသိုလ္သည္ တျခားစီသာျဖစ္၏၊ သူတစ္ေယာက္သည္ အျခား သူတစ္ေယာက္ကို ကိေလသာအညစ္အေၾကးမွ စင္ၾကယ္ေအာင္ မသုတ္သင္ႏုိင္။

165. By oneself the evil is done and one becomes defiled. By oneself the evil is not done and one becomes pure. Purity and impurity are individual matters. One cannot purify another.

၁၆၆။ အတၱဒတၳံ ပရေတၳန၊ ဗဟုနာပိ န ဟာပေယ။
အတၱဒတၳမဘိညာယ၊ သဒတၳပသုေတာ သိယာ။

၁၆၆။ သူတစ္ပါး၏ မ်ားစြာေသာ အက်ဳိးစီးပြားအတြက္ေၾကာင့္ မိမိ၏အက်ဳိးစီးပြားကို အနည္းငယ္မွ် မဆုတ္ယုတ္ေစရာ၊ မိမိအက်ဳိးစီးပြားကိုသိ၍ မိမိအက်ဳိးစီးပြားကို တိုးပြားေအာင္ ေလ့က်က္ အားထုတ္ရာ၏။

166. One should not neglect one's own welfare because of the need for another's, no matter how great; having well understood one's own duty, one should follow it with earnestness.
၁၁။ ဇရာ၀ဂၢ Chapter 11

၁၄၆။ ေကာ ႏု ဟာေသာ ကိမာနေႏၵာ၊ နိစၥံ ပဇၨလိေတ သတိ။
အႏၶကာေရန ၾသနဒၶါ၊ ပဒီပံ န ဂေ၀သထ။

၁၄၆။ လူအေပါင္း၌ အျမဲကိေလသာမီး ေတာက္ေလာင္ေနပါလွ်က္ အဘယ့္ေၾကာင့္ ေပ်ာ္ျမဴး ရယ္႐ႊင္ဘိသနည္း၊ အဘယ့္ေၾကာင့္ ႏွစ္လို၀မ္းသာျခင္း ျဖစ္ဘိသနည္း၊ အ၀ိဇၨာမိုက္ေမွာင္ႀကီးျဖင့္ ပိတ္ဆီး ေျမႇးယွက္အပ္ကုန္ သည္ျဖစ္ပါလ်က္ သင္တို႔သည္ အဘယ့္ေၾကာင့္ ပညာဆီမီးကို မ႐ွာဘဲ ေနၾကကုန္သနည္း။

146. How is there laughter, how is there joy, while the fire of passion and desire is burning on all people? When you are in deep darkness of craving and ignorance, will you not ask for a lamp of wisdom?

၁၄၇။ ပႆ စိတၱကတံ ဗိမၺံ၊ အ႐ုကာယံ သမုႆိတံ။
အာတုရံ ဗဟုသကၤပၸံ၊ ယႆ နတၳိ ဓု၀ံ ႒ိတိ။

၁၄၇။ အဆန္းတၾကယ္ျပဳအပ္ေသာ အ႐ုပ္ႏွင့္တူေသာ အ႐ုိးစုသံုးရာတို႔ျဖင့္ ေထာက္ထားအပ္ေသာ နာက်င္တတ္ေသာ မ်ားစြာေသာသူတုိ႔သည္ ၾကံစည္အပ္ေသာ ကိုးေပါက္ဒြါရ အမာ၀႐ွိေသာကိုယ္ကို ၾကည့္႐ႈေလာ့၊ ယင္းကိုယ္၏ အျမဲအ႐ွည္ တည္ျခင္းသည္ မ႐ွိေခ်တကား။

147. Look at this body! A beautified image with jointed limbs, always suffering and covered with nine orifices; it is not stable, ever changing and never permanent.

၁၄၈။ ပရိဇိဏၰမိဒံ ႐ူပံ၊ ေရာဂနီဠ ပဘဂၤုရံ။
ဘိဇၨတိ ပူတိသေႏၵေဟာ၊ မရဏႏၲံ ဟိ ဇီ၀ိတံ။

၁၄၈။ ဤ႐ူပကာယသည္ ေဆြးေျမ့ အိုတတ္၏၊ အနာေရာဂါတို႔၏ တည္ေနရာလည္းျဖစ္၏၊ ယိုယြင္းပ်က္စီးတတ္၏၊ အသက္႐ွင္ေနရျခင္းသည္ ေသျခင္းလွ်င္ အဆံုး႐ွိရကား ထိုကိုယ္သည္ ပုပ္သည္ျဖစ္၍ ပ်က္စီးရလတၱံ႔။

148. This body is decayed, a nest of diseases and perishable. With destruction and dissolution, all living beings come to an end in death.

၁၄၉။ ယာနိမာနိ အပတၳာနိ၊ အလာဗူေန၀ သာရေဒ။
ကာေပါတကာနိ အ႒ီနိ၊ တာနိ ဒိသြာန ကာ ရတိ။

၁၄၉။ တန္ေဆာင္မုန္းအခါ၌ စြန္႔ပစ္ထားေသာ ဘူးသီးေျခာက္ကဲ့သို႔ စြန္႔ပစ္အပ္ေသာ ခိုအဆင္းကဲ့သို႔ ျဖဴမြဲေသာ အ႐ုိုးတို႔ကိုျမင္ရ၍ အဘယ္မွာ ေမြ႔ေလ်ာ္ဖြယ္႐ွိႏုိင္အံ့နည္း။

149. Those grey bleaching human bones, like gourds discarded in autumn, what pleasure is there in looking at them?

၁၅၀။ အ႐ုိးတို႔ကိုစိုက္ထူ၍ အသားအေသြးတို႔ျဖင့္ လိမ္းက်ံလ်က္ အတၱေဘာတည္းဟူေသာျမိဳ႔ကို တဏွာလက္သမား သည္ ေဆာက္လုပ္အပ္၏၊ ယင္းျမိဳ႔၌ အိုျခင္း မာနေထာင္လႊားျခင္း သူ႔ေက်းဇူးကို ေခ်ဖ်က္ျခင္းသည္သာ တည္႐ွိေလ၏။

150. With bones the city is made, plastered with flesh and blood, where lie pride, ingratitude, old age and death.

၁၅၁။ ဇီရႏၲိ ေ၀ ရာဇရထာ သုစိတၱာ၊ အေထာ သရီရမၸိ ဇရံ ဥေပတိ။
သတဥၥ ဓေမၼာ န ဇရံ ဥေပတိ၊ သေႏၲာ ဟေ၀ သဗၻိ ပေ၀ဒယႏၲိ။

၁၅၁။ ရတနာတို႔ျဖင့္ ေကာင္းစြာ ဆန္းၾကယ္ေသာ မင္းတို႔၏ ရထားတို႔သည္ ေဆြးေျမ့အိုမင္း ၾကကုန္ေသး၏၊ ခႏၶာကိုယ္သည္လည္း ထို႔အတူပင္ ေဆြးေျမ့ အိုမင္းျခင္းသို႔ ေရာက္ရေသး၏၊ သူေတာ္ေကာင္းတို႔၏ တရားေတာ္ သည္ကား ေဆြးေျမ့ အိုမင္းျခင္းသို႔ မေရာက္ႏုိင္ဟု သူေတာ္ေကာင္းတို႔သည္ သူေတာ္ေကာင္းတို႔ႏွင့္ အခ်င္းခ်င္း ေဆြးေႏြးေျပာၾကားၾကကုန္၏။

151. Even well-decorated royal chariots of Kings eventually wear away. And so also the human body falls into decay. But the Dhamma of the virtuous people never grows old and decay as the righteous share it each other.

၁၅၂။ အပၸႆုတာယံ ပုရိေသာ၊ ဗလီဗေဒၵါ၀ ဇီရတိ။
မံသာနိ တႆ ၀ၯုႏၲိ၊ ပညာ တႆ န ၀ုၯုတိ။

၁၅၂။ အၾကားအျမင္နည္းေသာ ဤေယာက်္ားသည္ ႏြားလားကဲ့သို႔ အခ်ည္းအႏွီး ၾကီးထြားလာ၏၊ ထိုေယာက်္ားအား အသားတို႔သာ တိုးပြားကုန္၏၊ ပညာမူကား မတိုးပြြြါး။

152. A person who has learnt little becomes heavier day by day like an ox, his flesh increases and gains weight, but not his wisdom.

၀ိသခၤါရဂတံ စိတၱံ၊ တဏွာနံ ခယမဇၩဂါ။

၁၅၃။ အဖန္ဖန္ ပဋိသေႏၶေနရျခင္းသည္ ဆင္းရဲလွစြာေသာေၾကာင့္ ခႏၶာအိမ္ကို ေဆာက္လုပ္တတ္သူ တဏွာလက္သမားကို ႐ွာေသာငါသည္ ထိုတဏွာလက္သမားကို ျမင္ႏုိင္ေသာဉာဏ္ မရေသးသျဖင့္ ဘ၀မ်ားစြာ သံသရာပတ္လံုး က်င္လည္ခဲ့ရေလျပီ။

၁၅၄။ ခႏၶာအိမ္ကို ေဆာက္လုပ္တတ္ေသာ ဟယ္ တဏွာလက္သမား၊ ငါသည္သင့္ကို ပညာမ်က္စိျဖင့္ ယခုျမင္အပ္ျပီး၊ ခႏၶာအိမ္ကိုေနာင္တဖန္ သင္ေဆာက္လုပ္ရေတာ့မည္မဟုတ္၊ သင္၏ ကိေလသာတည္းဟူေသာ အျခင္ရနယ္ အားလံုးတို႔ကို ငါခ်ဳိးဖ်က္အပ္ၿပီ၊ အ၀ိဇၨာတည္းဟူေသာ အိမ္အထြတ္ကို ဖ်က္ဆီးအပ္ျပီ၊ ငါ၏စိတ္သည္ ျပဳျပင္ျခင္းကင္းရာ နိဗၺာန္သုိ႔ေရာက္ျပီ၊ တဏွာ ကုန္ရာကုန္ေၾကာင္း အရဟတၱဖိုလ္ကိုရျပီ။

153. I ran through Samsara, the cycles of many lives with deaths and rebirths, searching in vain the builder of my body due to the lack of wisdom.

154. Now I have seen the builder of the house, you will not rebuild the house again. The rafters of sins are broken; the ridge-pole of ignorance is destroyed. The fever of craving is past; for my mortal mind is gone free to the joy of the immortal Nibbana.

၁၅၅။ သူမိုက္တို႔သည္ အ႐ြယ္႐ွိခိုက္ ျမတ္ေသာအက်င့္ကို မက်င့္လိုက္မိ၊ ဥစၥာကိုလည္း မရေသာေၾကာင့္ ငါးကုန္ခန္းေသာညြန္အိုင္၌ အေတာင္ကြၽတ္ေသာ ႀကိဳးၾကာအိုတို႔ကဲ့သို႔ (အရြယ္လြန္ေသာအခါ)ၾကံမႈိင္၍သာ ေနၾက ရကုန္၏။

၁၅၆။ သူမိုက္တို႔သည္ အ႐ြယ္႐ွိခိုက္ ျမတ္ေသာအက်င့္ကို မက်င့္လိုက္မိ၊ ဥစၥာကိုလည္း မရလိုက္မိေသာေၾကာင့္ ေလးမွလြတ္ျပီးေနာက္ အ႐ွိန္ကုန္ေသာျမားတို႔ကဲ့သို႔ ေ႐ွးျဖစ္ေဟာင္း သုခတို႔ကို ညည္းတြားေအာက္ေမ့၍သာ ေနၾကရကုန္၏။

155. Those who have not practiced religious life and have not gained the treasures of life in their youth, are later like long-legged aged herons with loosing feathers standing sad by a lake where there is no fish.

156. Those who have not practiced religious life and have not gained the treasures of life in their youth, are later like worn-out arrows with loosing velocity discharged from a bow, ever moaning over the past (old days happiness).

၁၂၉။ သေဗၺ တသႏၲိ ဒ႑ႆ၊ သေဗၺ ဘာယႏၲိ မစၥဳေနာ။
အတၱာနံ ဥပမံ ကတြာ၊ န ဟေနယ် န ဃာတေယ။

၁၂၉။ အလံုးစံုေသာ သတၱ၀ါတို႔သည္ ဒဏ္မွ ထိတ္လန္႔ကုန္၏၊ အလံုးစံုေသာသတၱ၀ါတို႔သည္ ေသျခင္းမွ ေၾကာက္ကုန္၏၊ မိမိကိုယ္ကို ဥပမာျပဳ၍ သတၱ၀ါတို႔ကိုမသတ္ျဖတ္ မညႇဥ္းဆဲရာ။

129. All beings are afraid of punishment, so also all beings are afraid of death. Considering others as yourself, one should neither kill nor ill treat others.

၁၃၀။ သေဗၺ တသႏၲိ ဒ႑ႆ၊ သေဗၺသံ ဇီ၀ိတံ ပိယံ။

၁၃၀။ အလံုးစံုေသာ သတၱ၀ါတို႔သည္ ဒဏ္မွထိတ္လန္႔ကုန္၏၊ အလံုးစံုေသာသတၱ၀ါတို႔သည္ မိမိတို႔၏ အသက္ ကိုခ်စ္၏၊ မိမိကိုယ္ကို ဥပမာျပဳ၍ သတၱ၀ါတို႔ကို မသတ္ျဖတ္္ မညႇဥ္းဆဲရာ။

130. All beings are afraid of punishment, all beings love life; considering others as yourself, one should neither kill nor ill treat others.

၁၃၁။ သုခကာမာနိ ဘူတာနိ၊ ေယာ ဒေ႑န ၀ိဟႎသတိ။

၁၃၁။ အၾကင္သူသည္ မိမိ၏ခ်မ္းသာကို႐ွာအံ့ဟု မိမိကဲ့သို႔ ခ်မ္းသာကိုအလို႐ွိကုန္ေသာ သတၱ၀ါတို႔ကို တုတ္ လွံ တံျဖင့္ ညႇဥ္းဆဲ၏၊ ထိုညႇဥ္းဆဲေသာသူသည္ တမလြန္ဘ၀၌ ခ်မ္းသာကိုမရႏုိင္။

၁၃၂။ အၾကင္သူသည္ မိမိ၏ခ်မ္းသာကို႐ွာအံ့ဟု မိမိကဲ့သို႔ ခ်မ္းသာကိုအလို႐ွိကုန္ေသာ သတၱ၀ါ တို႔ကို တုတ္လွံတံျဖင့္ မညႇဥ္းဆဲ၊ ထိုမညႇဥ္းဆဲေသာသူသည္ တမလြန္ဘ၀၌ ခ်မ္းသာကို ရႏုိင္၏။

131. One who, for the sake of happiness, hurts or kills other beings who also long for happiness, will not find happiness after death.

132. One who, for the sake of happiness, does not hurt or kill other beings, who also long for happiness, will find happiness after death.

၁၃၃။ မာေ၀ါစ ဖ႐ုသံ ကဥၥိ၊ ၀ုတၱာ ပဋိ၀ေဒယ်ဳ တံ။
ဒုကၡာ ဟိ သာရမၻကထာ၊ ပဋိဒ႑ာ ဖုေသယ်ဳ တံ။

၁၃၄။ သေစ ေနေရသိ အတၱာနံ၊ ကံေသာ ဥပဟေတာ ယထာ။
ဧသ ပေတၱာသိ နိဗၺာနံ၊ သာရေမၻာ ေတ န ၀ိဇၨတိ။

၁၃၃။ တစ္စံုတစ္ေယာက္ကိုမွ် ၾကမ္းၾကဳတ္ေသာစကားကို မဆိုလင့္၊ အဆိုခံရသူတို႔သည္ သင့္ကို ျပန္လွန္ ဆိုကုန္ရာ၏၊ ျခဳတ္ျခယ္ေသာ စကားသည္ ဆင္းရဲ၏အေၾကာင္းတည္း၊ သူတစ္ပါးကို ဒဏ္ျပဳက အတံု႔ အလွည့္ဒဏ္တို႔သည္ သင့္ထံသို႔ ေရာက္ကုန္ရာ၏။

၁၃၄။ အနားျပတ္ေသာ ေၾကးေခါင္းေလာင္းသည္ အသံမထြက္ ၿငိမ္သက္သကဲ့သို႔ မိမိကိုယ္ကို ၿငိမ္သက္ တည္ၾကည္ေအာင္ ေစာင့္ေ႐ွာက္ေနေသာသူသည္ နိဗၺာန္သို႔ေရာက္ႏုိင္၏၊ ျခဳတ္ျခယ္မႈမ႐ွိ။

133. Never speak harsh words; for once spoken they will be said back to you. Angry words are painful, retaliation will get you.

134. If you can be silent like a broken gong that is silent, you can reach the peace of Nibbana; there is no agitation in you.

၁၃၅။ ယထာ ဒေ႑န ေဂါပါေလာ၊ ဂါေ၀ါ ပါေဇတိ ေဂါစရံ။
ဧ၀ံ ဇရာ စ မစၥဳ စ၊ အာယံု ပါေဇႏၲိ ပါဏိနံ။

၁၃၅။ ႏြားေက်ာင္းသားသည္ ႏွင္တံျဖင့္ ႏြားတုိ႔ကို စားက်က္သို႔ ေမာင္းႏွင္သကဲ့သို႔ ဤအတူ အိုျခင္းသည္ လည္းေကာင္း၊ ေသျခင္းသည္လည္းေကာင္း သတၱ၀ါတို႔၏ အသက္ကို ေမာင္းႏွင္ကုန္၏။

135. As a cowherd with his staff drives his cows to pasture, so do Old Age and Death drive the life of all beings.

၁၃၆။ အထ ပါပါနိ ကမၼာနိ၊ ကရံ ဗာေလာ န ဗုဇၩတိ။
ေသဟိ ကေမၼဟိ ဒုေမၼေဓာ၊ အဂၢိဍေၯုာ၀ တပၸတိ။

၁၃၆။ မေကာင္းမႈ အကုသိုလ္ကံတို႔ကိုျပဳေသာ သူမိုက္သည္ ထိုျပဳေသာအခါ၌မသိ၊ ပညာမဲ့သူသည္ ထိုမိမိျပဳေသာ မေကာင္းမႈကံတုိ႔ေၾကာင့္ မီးေလာင္ေသာသူကဲ့သို႔ ပူပန္ရ၏။

136. The foolish one does not know when he commits his evil deeds; later the stupid man has to suffer and is consumed by his own deeds, as if burnt by fire.

၁၃၇။ ေယာ ဒေ႑န အဒေ႑သု၊ အပၸဒုေ႒သု ဒုႆတိ။
ဒသႏၷမညတရံ ဌာနံ၊ ခိပၸေမ၀ နိဂစၧတိ။

၁၃၉။ ရာဇေတာ ၀ါ ဥပသဂၢံ၊ အဗၻကၡာနံ ၀ ဒါ႐ုဏံ။
ပရိကၡယံ ၀ ဉာတီနံ၊ ေဘာဂါနံ ၀ ပဘဂၤုရံ။

၁၄၀။ အထ ၀ါႆ အဂါရာနိ၊ အဂၢိ ဍဟတိ ပါ၀ေကာ။
ကာယႆ ေဘေဒါ ဒုပၸေညာ၊ နိရယံ ေသာပပဇၨတိ။

၁၃၇။ အၾကင္သူသည္ အျပစ္ဒဏ္ကင္းၾက၍ မျပစ္မွားထိုက္ေသာ ရဟႏၲာပုဂၢဳိလ္တို႔၌ တုတ္လွံတံ စသည္ျဖင့္ ျပစ္မွား၏၊ ထိုသူသည္ ဆင္းရဲေၾကာင္း ဒဏ္ဆယ္ပါးတုိ႔တြင္ တစ္ပါးပါးေသာ ဆင္းရဲျခင္းအေၾကာင္းသို႔ လ်င္ျမန္စြာပင္ ေရာက္ရ၏။

၁၃၈-၁၃၉။ ျပင္းထန္ေသာ ေ၀ဒနာသို႔လည္းေကာင္း၊ ဥစၥာဆံုး႐ႈံးျခင္းသို႔လည္းေကာင္း၊ လက္ျပတ္ ေျချပတ္စေသာ ကိုယ္အဂၤါပ်က္စီးျခင္းသို႔လည္းေကာင္း၊ ႀကီးေလးေသာ ႏူနာစေသာ အနာစြဲ ကပ္ျခင္းသို႔လည္းေကာင္း၊ ႐ူးျခင္း စိတ္ပ်ံ႔လြင့္ျခင္းသို႔လည္းေကာင္း၊ မင္းေဘးလည္းေကာင္း၊ ၾကမ္းၾကဳတ္စြာေသာ အစြတ္စြဲခံရျခင္းသို႔ လည္းေကာင္း၊ ေဆြမ်ဳိးတို႔၏ ပ်က္ျပားျခင္းသို႔ လည္းေကာင္း၊ စည္းစိမ္ ဥစၥာတို႔၏ယိုယြင္းပ်က္စီးျခင္းသို႔ လည္းေကာင္းေရာက္၏။

၁၄၀။ ထို႔ျပင္ထိုျပစ္မွားသူ၏ အိမ္တို႔ကုိ ပကတိမီးသည္လည္းေကာင္း၊ ေလာင္မီးသည္လည္းေကာင္းေလာင္၏၊ ပညာမဲ့ေသာ ထိုသူသည္ ခႏၶာကိုယ္ပ်က္စီးသည္မွေနာက္၌ ငရဲသို႔ ေရာက္ရ၏။

137. Any person who inflicts pain on those Ariyas who are pure and innocent will soon fall into one of these ten evils (chastisements):

138-139. fearful pains or sufferings; destitution, fracturing of the body (loss of limbs), grave illness (as leprosy), insanity, oppression by the ruler, severe accusations, destruction of kin (relatives):

140. destruction of possessions or lightening fire will burn his houses, and upon the dissolution of his body, the stupid man will fall to hell.

၁၄၁။ န နဂၢစရိယာ န ဇဋာ န ပကၤာ၊ နာနာသကာ ထ႑ိလသာယိကာ ၀ါ။
ရေဇာဇလႅံ ဥကၠဳဋိကပၸဓာနံ၊ ေသာေဓႏၲိ မစၥံ အ၀ိတိဏၰကခႍ။

၁၄၁။ အ၀တ္မ၀တ္ဘဲ က်င့္ျခင္းတို႔သည္လည္းေကာင္း၊ ဆံက်စ္အက်င့္တို႔သည္လည္းေကာင္း၊ ႐ႊံ႔ညြန္ အလိမ္းလိမ္းကပ္၍ က်င့္ျခင္းတုိ႔သည္လည္းေကာင္း၊ အစာျဖတ္၍ အငတ္ခံက်င့္ျခင္း တို႔သည္လည္းေကာင္း၊ ေျမ၌အိပ္၍ ေနျခင္းတို႔သည္လည္းေကာင္း၊ ျမဴမႈန္အလိမ္းလိမ္း တင္ေစလွ်က္ က်င့္ျခင္းသည္လည္းေကာင္း၊ ေဆာင့္ေၾကာင့္ထိုင္၍ က်င့္ျခင္းသည္လည္းေကာင္း ၀ိစိကိစၧာမွ မလြတ္ေျမာက္ေသးေသာ သတၱ၀ါကို မစင္ၾကယ္ေစႏုိင္ကုန္။

141. Not nakedness, not matted hair, not dust, not fasting, or sleeping on the bare earth, not rubbing with dust, not squatting motionless can cleanse a mortal who has not overcome his doubts.

၁၄၂။ အလကၤေတာ ေစပိ သမံ စေရယ်၊ သေႏၲာ ဒေႏၲာ နိယေတာ ျဗဟၼစာရီ။
သေဗၺသု ဘူေတသု နိဓာယ ဒ႑ံ၊ ေသာ ျဗာဟၼေဏာ ေသာ သမေဏာ သ ဘိကၡဳ။

၁၄၂။ အၾကင္သူသည္ ကိေလသာျငိမ္း၏၊ ဣေႁႏၵကို ဆံုးမျပီးျဖစ္၏၊ မဂ္ေလးပါးျဖင့္ျမဲ၏၊ ျမတ္ေသာအက်င့္႐ွိ၏၊ အလံုးစံုေသာသတၱ၀ါတို႔၌ လက္နက္ကို ပယ္ခ်ထားသည္ျဖစ္၍ ေမတၱာျဖင့္ အညီအမွ်က်င့္၏၊ ထိုသူသည္အ၀တ္ တန္ဆာဆင္ေစကာမူ မေကာင္းမႈမွအပျပဳသူ ျဗာဟၼဏမည္၏၊ ကိေလသာျငိမ္းသူ သမဏမည္၏၊ ကိေလသာ ဖ်က္ဆီးျပီးသူ ဘိကၡဳမည္၏။

142. Though a man may wear fine clothing, if he lives peacefully after destroying mental defilements, is quiet, subdued and restrained and he does not hurt any living being, he is indeed a Brahmana (who has cast off evils), a samana (who has ceased defilements), and a Bhikkhu (who has destroyed passions).

ေယာ နိဒၵံ အပေဗာေဓတိ၊ အေႆာ ဘေျဒာ ကသာမိ၀။

၁၄၄။ အေႆာ ယထာ ဘေျဒာ ကသာနိ၀ိေ႒ာ၊ အာတာပိေနာ သံေ၀ဂိေနာ ဘ၀ါထ။
သဒၶါယ သီေလန စ ၀ီရိေယန စ၊ သမာဓိနာ ဓမၼ၀ိနိစၧေယန စ။
သမၸႏၷ၀ိဇၨာစရဏာ ပတိႆတာ၊ ဇဟိႆထ ဒုကၡမိဒံ အနပၸကံ။

၁၄၃။ ျမင္းေကာင္းသည္ ႀကိမ္လံုးကို ၾကဥ္ေ႐ွာင္သကဲ့သို႔ အၾကင္သူသည္ မိမိ၏အိပ္ေပ်ာ္ျခင္းကို ႏိုးၾကားေစ၏၊ မိစၧာ၀ိ တက္ကို ႐ွက္ေၾကာက္ျခင္းျဖင့္တားျမစ္၏၊ ထိုပုဂၢဳိလ္မ်ဳိးသည္ ေလာက၌ တစ္ေယာက္တစ္ေလသာ ႐ွိ၏။

၁၄၄။ ျမင္းေကာင္းသည္ ႀကိမ္လံုးကို ပုတ္ခတ္သည္႐ွိေသာ္ လံု႔လ႐ွိသကဲ့သို႔ သင္တို႔သည္ လည္း လံု႔လ႐ွိကုန္သည္ ထိပ္လန္႔ကုန္သည္ ျဖစ္ၾကကုန္ေလာ့၊ ယံုၾကည္ျခင္း သဒၶါႏွင့္ လည္းေကာင္း၊ သီလႏွင့္ လည္းေကာင္း၊ ၀ီရိယႏွင့္ လည္းေကာင္း၊ တည္ၾကည္ျခင္း သမာဓိႏွင့္ လည္းေကာင္း၊ တရားမွန္မမွန္ ဆံုးျဖတ္ေၾကာင္းဉာဏ္ႏွင့္လည္းေကာင္း ျပည့္စံုၾကလွ်က္ အသိ ၀ိဇၨာ အက်င့္စရဏႏွင့္ ျပည့္စံုကုန္သည္ျဖစ္၍ ထင္ေသာသတိ႐ွိၾကပါလွ်င္ အတိုင္းမသိ အလြန္႐ွည္လ်ားေသာ သံသရာဆင္းရဲကို စြန္႔လႊတ္ႏုိင္ကုန္လတၱံ႕။

143. As a good horse avoids the touch of the whip, a noble man who, being wakeful from his sleep, restrained by modesty, seems to be rare in the world, avoids all fetters by shame.

၁၄၅။ ေျမာင္းတူးေရယူသမားတို႔သည္ အလို႐ွိရာသို႔ ေရကိုေဆာင္ယူကုန္၏၊ ေလးသမားတို႔သည္ ျမားကိုေျဖာင့္ကုန္၏၊ သစ္ေ႐ြသမားတုိ႔သည္ သစ္ကိုလိုတိုင္းရေအာင္ ေ႐ြကုန္၏၊ ေကာင္းေသာအက်င့္႐ွိေသာ သူေတာ္ေကာင္းတို႔သည္ မိမိကိုယ္ကို ယဥ္ေက်းေအာင္ ဆံုးမကုန္၏။

145. Those who make channels for water guide the water where they want, fletchers bend the arrow straight, carpenters straighten wood, and the men with virtue tame themselves.

၁၁၆။ အဘိတၳေရထ ကလ်ာေဏ၊ ပါပါ စိတၱံ နိ၀ါရေယ။

၁၁၆။ မေကာင္းမႈ၌စိတ္သည္ ေမြ႔ေလ်ာ္တတ္၍ ေကာင္းမႈျပဳေသာအခါ ႏုံ႔ေႏွးတတ္ရကား မေကာင္းမႈမွ စိတ္ကိုတားျမစ္၍ ကုသုိလ္ေကာင္းမႈတုိ႔ကို လ်င္ျမန္ေဆာစြာ ျပဳလုပ္ရာ၏။

116. Quicken to do good, keep the mind away from evil. The mind of one who is slow in doing well finds pleasure in evil.

၁၁၇။ ပုဂိၢဳလ္သည္ မေကာင္းမႈ ျပဳမိေစကာမႉ ထိုမေကာင္းမႈကို ထပ္ကာထပ္ကာ မျပဳမိေစရာ၊ ထိုမေကာင္းမႈ၌ စိတ္အလုိဆႏၵကိုမျပဳရာ၊ မေကာင္းမႈကိုပြားေစျခင္းသည္ ဆင္းရဲ၏ အေၾကာင္းတည္း။

117. If a person does something wrong, let him not do it again and again. Let him not find the pleasure in his sin. A suffering is the accumulation of wrongdoings.

၁၁၈။ ပုညေဥၥ ပုရိေသာ ကယိရာ၊ ကယိရာ နံ ပုနပၸဳနံ။
တမွိ ဆႏၵံ ကယိရာထ၊ သုေခါ ပုညႆ ဥစၥေယာ။

၁၁၈။ ပုဂိၢဳလ္သည္ ေကာင္းမႈကိုျပဳျပီးေသာ္လည္း ထိုေကာင္းမႈကို ထပ္ကာထပ္ကာျပဳရာ၏၊ ထိုေကာင္းမႈ၌ စိတ္အလိုဆႏၵကို ျပဳရာ၏၊ ေကာင္းမႈကုိ ပြားေစျခင္းသည္ ခ်မ္းသာျခင္း၏ အေၾကာင္းတည္း။

118. If a person does something good, let him do it again and again. Let him rejoice therein; prosperity is the accumulation of good deeds.

၁၁၉။ မေကာင္းမႈျပဳေသာသူပင္ ျဖစ္ေသာ္လည္း မေကာင္းမႈ အက်ဳိးမေပးေသးသေ႐ြ႔ ကာလပတ္လံုး ေကာင္းျမတ္ေသာအာ႐ုံကို ေတြ႔ျမင္ႏုိင္ေသး၏၊ မေကာင္းမႈအက်ဳိးေပးေသာ အခါ၌မူကား မေကာင္းမႈျပဳသူသည္ မေကာင္းက်ဳိးတို႔ကိုသာ ေတြ႔ျမင္ရေတာ့၏။

၁၂၀။ ေကာင္းမႈျပဳေသာသူပင္ ျဖစ္ေသာ္လည္း ေကာင္းမႈအက်ဳိး မေပးေသးသေ႐ြ႔ ကာလပတ္လံုး မေကာင္းေသာအာ႐ံုကို ေတြ႔ျမင္ႏုိင္ေသး၏၊ ေကာင္းမႈအက်ဳိးေပးေသာ အခါ၌မူကား ေကာင္းမႈျပဳသူသည္ ေကာင္းက်ဳိးတို႔ကုိသာ ေတြ႔ျမင္ရေလေတာ့၏။

119. Even an evil-doer sees delight as long as his evil deed has not ripened; but when his evil deed has ripened, then does the evil-doer see evil.

120. A man may find pain in doing good as long as his good deed has not given fruit; but when the fruit of good comes then that man finds good indeed.

၁၂၁။ မာ၀မေညထ ပါပႆ၊ န မႏၵံ အာဂမိႆတိ။

၁၂၁။ အနည္းငယ္ေသာ မေကာင္းမႈသည္ ငါ့အားအက်ဳိးေရာက္လိမ့္မည္ မဟုတ္ဟု မေကာင္းမႈ ကို မထီမဲ့ျမင္ မေအာင့္ေမ့ရာ၊ မိုးေရေပါက္သည္ က်ဖန္မ်ားလတ္ေသာ္ ေရအိုးသည္ ျပည့္သကဲ့သို႔ သူမိုက္သည္ အနည္းငယ္ အနည္းငယ္မွ်ေသာ မေကာင္းမႈကို ျပဳဆည္းပူးဖန္မ်ားေသာ္ မေကာင္းမႈျဖင့္ ျပည့္၏။

121. Though it is a sin of little worth, do not think it will not affect you. Dripping water will in time fill a water pot drop by drop; a foolish man is filled with evil, even if one accumulates it little by little.

၁၂၂။ အနည္းငယ္ေသာေကာင္းမႈသည္ ငါ့အားအက်ဳိးေရာက္လိမ့္မည္ မဟုတ္ဟု ေကာင္းမႈကို မထီမဲ့ျမင္ မေအာင့္ေမ့ရာ၊ မိုးေရေပါက္သည္ က်ဖန္မ်ားလတ္ေသာ္ ေရအိုးသည္ ျပည့္သကဲ့သို႔ ပညာ႐ွိသည္ အနည္းငယ္ အနည္းငယ္မွ်ေသာ ေကာင္းမႈကို ျပဳဆည္းပူးဖန္မ်ားလတ္ေသာ္ ေကာင္းမႈျဖင့္ ျပည့္၏။

၁၂၃။ အေဖာ္နည္းေသာ မ်ားေသာဥစၥာ႐ွိေသာကုန္သည္ၾကီးသည္ ေဘးအႏၲရာယ္မ်ားေသာ ခရီးကို ေ႐ွာင္ၾကဥ္သကဲ့သို႔ လည္းေကာင္း၊ အသက္႐ွင္လိုေသာသူသည္ လတ္တေလာ ေသေစတတ္ေသာအဆိပ္ကို ေ႐ွာင္ၾကဥ္သကဲ့သို႔လည္းေကာင္း ပညာ႐ွိသည္ မေကာင္းမႈကို ေ႐ွာင္ၾကဥ္ရာ၏။

123. Just as a wealthy merchant with many goods but with few companions avoids a dangerous road, and just as someone who loves his life avoids poison, a wise man should avoid all evils.

၁၂၄။ ပါဏိမွိ ေစ ၀ေဏာ နာႆ၊ ဟေရယ် ပါဏိနာ ၀ိသံ။
နာဗၺဏံ ၀ိသမေႏြတိ၊ နတၳိ ပါပံ အကုဗၺေတာ။

၁၂၄။ လက္၌အနာမ႐ွိလွ်င္ လက္ျဖင့္အဆိပ္ကို ကိုင္ေဆာင္ႏုိင္၏၊ အဆိပ္သည္ အနာမ႐ွိေသာ လက္သို႔ အစဥ္ မလိုက္၊ ေစတနာမ႐ွိဘဲ ျပဳေသာသူအား မေကာင္းမႈကံမည္သည္ မ႐ွိ။

124. If one who has no wound in his hand may touch poison by hand, his hand cannot be hurt by the poison, since poison hurts where there is no wound, the man who has no evil cannot be hurt by evil.

၁၂၅။ ေယာ အပၸဒု႒ႆ နရႆ ဒုႆတိ၊ သုဒၶႆ ေပါသႆ အနဂၤဏႆ။
တေမ၀ ဗာလံ ပေစၥတိ ပါပံ၊ သုခုေမာ ရေဇာ ပဋိ၀ါတံ၀ ခိေတၱာ။

၁၂၅။ အၾကင္သူမိုက္သည္ မျပစ္မွားထိုက္ေသာ စင္ၾကယ္၍ ကိေလသာကင္းေသာ ရဟႏၲာ ပုဂၢဳိလ္အား ျပစ္မွား၏၊ ေလညာသို႔ပစ္လႊင့္အပ္ေသာ သိမ္ေမြ႔ေသာျမဴမႈန္သည္ ထိုပစ္လႊင္႔သူသို႔သာ ျပန္က်သကဲ့သို႔ မေကာင္းမႈသည္ ထိုသူမိုက္သို႔သာ ေ႐ွး႐ႈျပန္က်လာ၏။

125. If any foolish person who offends an innocent Ariya, the ill of that evil returns to this fool, like the dust thrown against the wind.

၁၂၆။ ဂဗၻေမေက ဥပၸဇၨႏၲိ၊ နိရယံ ပါပကမၼိေနာ။
သဂၢံ သုဂတိေနာ ယႏၲိ၊ ပရိနိဗၺႏၲိ အနာသ၀ါ။

၁၂၆။ အခ်ဳိ႕ေသာ သူတို႔သည္ ဤလူ႔ျပည္၌ အမိ၀မ္း၀ယ္ ပဋိသေႏၶေနရကုန္၏၊ မေကာင္းမႈ ျပဳသူတို႔သည္ ငရဲ၌ ျဖစ္ရကုန္၏၊ ေကာင္းေသာပညာ႐ွိတို႔သည္ နတ္ျပည္သို႔ ေရာက္ရကုန္၏၊ အာသေ၀ါကင္းေသာ ရဟႏၲာ ပုဂၢဳိလ္တို႔သည္ ပရိနိဗၺာန္စံရကုန္၏။

126. Some are born in a womb on earth, people who do evil are reborn in hell; those of good course go to heaven, people who are pure attain Nibbana.

၁၂၇။ န အႏၲလိေကၡ န သမုဒၵမေဇၩ၊ န ပဗၺတာနံ ၀ိ၀ရံ ပ၀ိႆ။
န ၀ိဇၨတီ ေသာ ဇဂတိပၸေဒေသာ၊ ယတၳ႒ိေတာ မုေစၥယ် ပါပကမၼာ။

၁၂၇။ မေကာင္းမႈျပဳသူသည္ ေကာင္းကင္၌ တည္ေနေသာ္ လည္းေကာင္း၊ သမုဒၵရာအလယ္၌ တည္ေနေသာ္ လည္းေကာင္း ေတာင္ေခါင္းသို႔၀င္၍ တည္ေနေသာ္လည္းေကာင္း မေကာင္းမႈမွ မလြတ္ရာ၊ အၾကင္အရပ္၌ တည္ေနေသာ္ မေကာင္းမႈမွ လြတ္ရာ၏၊ ထိုအရပ္မ်ဳိးကား မရွိႏုိင္ သည္သာတည္း။

127. There is no spot in the world for an evil doer; not in the sky, or in the ocean depths, or in a mountain-cave, where one can escape from evil deeds.

၁၂၈။ န အႏၲလိေကၡ န သမုဒၵမေဇၩ၊ န ပဗၺတာနံ ၀ိ၀ရံ ပ၀ိႆ။
န ၀ိဇၨတီ ေသာ ဇဂတိပၸေဒေသာ၊ ယတၳ႒ိတံ နပၸသေဟယ် မစၥဳ။

၁၂၈။ မေကာင္းမႈျပဳသူသည္ ေကာင္းကင္၌ တည္ေနေသာ္ လည္းေကာင္း၊ သမုဒၵရာအလယ္၌ တည္ေနေသာ္ လည္းေကာင္း၊ ေတာင္ေခါင္းသို႔၀င္၍ တည္ေနေသာ္လည္းေကာင္း ေသမင္းမွမလြတ္ရာ၊ အၾကင္အရပ္၌ တည္ေနေသာ္ ေသမင္းမွမညႇဥ္းဆဲႏုိင္ရာ၊ ထိုအရပ္မ်ဳိးကား မ႐ွိႏုိင္သည္သာတည္း။

128. There is no place in the world for an evil doer; not in the sky, or in the ocean depths, or in a mountain-cave, where one can be free from the power of death.

၁၀၀။ ေတာဖြဲ႔ေတာင္ဖဲြ႔ အက်ဳိးမဲ့ပုဒ္ႏွင့္သာဆိုင္ေသာ စကားသည္ အခြန္းတစ္ေထာင္ရွိေစကာမူ မျမတ္၊ ၾကားနာရသျဖင့္ ရာဂစသည္ ျငိမ္းေအးေၾကာင္းျဖစ္၍ အက်ဳိး႐ွိေသာ တေၾကာင္း တစ္ပုဒ္ တဂါထာသည္သာ ပိုလြန္၍ ျမတ္၏။

100. Though a statement composed of a thousand words without sense, one word of sense is better, which one becomes pacified.

ဧကံ ဂါထာပဒံ ေသေယ်ာ၊ ယံ သုတြာ ဥပသမၼတိ။

၁၀၁။ အက်ဳိးမဲ့ပုဒ္ႏွင့္ဆိုင္ေသာ ဂါထာသည္တစ္ေထာင္ပင္ ျဖစ္ေစကာမူ မျမတ္၊ ၾကားနာရသျဖင့္ ရာဂစသည္ ျငိမ္းေအးေၾကာင္းျဖစ္ေသာ ဂါထာ တစ္ဂါထာသည္သာ ပိုလြန္၍ျမတ္၏။

101. Better than a thousand useless verses is one single verse that gives peace.

၁၀၂။ ေယာ စ ဂါထာ သတံ ဘာေသ၊ အနတၳပဒသံဟိတာ။
ဧကံ ဓမၼပဒံ ေသေယ်ာ၊ ယံ သုတြာ ဥပသမၼတိ။

၁၀၃။ ေယာ သဟႆံ သဟေႆန၊ သဂၤါေမ မာႏုေသ ဇိေန။
ဧကဥၥ ေဇယ်မတၱာနံ၊ သ ေ၀ သဂၤါမဇုတၱေမာ။

၁၀၂။ အက်ဳိးမဲ့ပုဒ္ႏွင့္ဆိုင္ေသာ ဂါထာတစ္ရာကို ႐ြတ္ဆိုေစကာမူ မျမတ္၊ ၾကားနာရသျဖင့္ ရာဂစသည္ ျငိမ္းေအးေၾကာင္းျဖစ္ေသာ တရားတစ္ပုဒ္ကို ႐ြတ္ဆိုျခင္းသည္သာ ပိုလြန္၍ျမတ္၏။

၁၀၃။ အၾကင္ စစ္သူရဲတစ္ေယာက္ စစ္ေျမျပင္၌ စစ္သည္ ဗိုလ္ပါတို႔ကို အႀကိမ္တစ္သန္း ေအာင္ႏုိင္ရာ၏၊ အၾကင္သူရဲေကာင္းတစ္ေယာက္သည္ကား ကိုယ္တြင္းကိေလသာကို တစ္ၾကိမ္ တစ္ခါမွ် ေအာင္ႏုိင္ရာ၏၊ ကိုယ္တြင္း ကိေလသာကို တစ္ၾကိမ္ေအာင္ႏုိင္ေသာ ထိုသူသည္သာ စစ္ေအာင္သူတို႔တြင္ အျမတ္ဆံုးျဖစ္၏။

102. Better than one who recites a hundred verses of meaningless lines is one verse on hearing which one becomes calm.

103. If a man conquers in battle a thousand times a thousand men, but if one conquers(his passions) himself alone, he is the greatest of all conquerors.

၁၀၄-၁၀၅။ ကိုယ္တြင္းကိေလသာတို႔ကိုႏုိင္ျခင္းျဖင့္ မိမိကိုယ္ကို ေအာင္ႏုိင္ျခင္းသည္ျမတ္၏၊ ေလာင္းတန္းကစားျခင္း စစ္တိုက္ျခင္းစသည္ျဖင့္ သူတစ္ပါးကို ေအာင္ႏုိင္ျခင္းသည္မျမတ္၊ မိမိကိုယ္ကို ဆံုးမျပီးေသာ၊ ကိုယ္ ႏႈတ္ ႏွလံုး သံုးပါးလံုးကို အျမဲေစာင့္စည္းေလ့႐ွိေသာ၊ ထိုသို႔ သေဘာ႐ွိေသာ၊ သတၱ၀ါ တို႔၏ေအာင္ျခင္းကို နတ္သည္လည္းေကာင္း၊ ဂႏၶဗၺနတ္သည္ လည္းေကာင္း၊ ျဗဟၼာႏွင့္ တကြေသာ မာရ္နတ္သည္လည္းေကာင္း ႐ႈံးေအာင္မျပဳႏုိင္ရာ။

104.105. Better, indeed, oneself conquered over others, and has won himself, who is constantly living in self-control. Neither a Deva, nor a Gandhabba, nor Mara together with Brahma, could turn the victory into defeat of a person who controls himself.

၁၀၆။ အႏွစ္တစ္ရာပတ္လံုး လတိုင္းလတိုင္း(တကၠတြန္းတို႔အား)ေငြတစ္ေထာင္အကုန္ခံ၍ ပူေဇာ္ရာ၏၊ ၀ိပႆနာ ပြားေသာစိတ္ရွိေသာ ရဟန္းတို႔အား တစ္ၾကိမ္တစ္ခဏမွ် ပူေဇာ္ရာ၏၊ ထိုပူေဇာ္ျခင္းႏွစ္မ်ဳိးတို႔တြင္ ၀ိပႆနာ ပြားမ်ားေသာရဟန္းတို႔အား တစ္ခဏမွ် ပူေဇာ္ျခင္းသည္သာ ျမတ္၏၊ တကၠတြန္းတို႔အား အႏွစ္တစ္ရာပတ္လံုး ပူေဇာ္ျခင္းသည္ မျမတ္။

106. If month by month, with a thousand devotional money offerings for a hundred years one should sacrifice; and another only for a moment paid reverence to a Noble One who is virtuous and practicing vipassana meditation, this moment would have greater value than a hundred years of offerings.

၁၀၇။ ေယာ စ ၀ႆသတံ ဇႏၲဳ၊ အဂၢႎ ပရိစေရ ၀ေန။
ဧကဥၥ ဘာ၀ိတတၱာနံ၊ မုဟုတၱမပိ ပူဇေယ။
သာေယ၀ ပူဇနာ ေသေယ်ာ၊ ယေဥၥ ၀ႆသတံ ဟုတံ။

၁၀၇။ အၾကင္သူသည္ အႏွစ္တစ္ရာပတ္လံုး ေတာ၌မီးကို လုပ္ေကြၽးပူေဇာ္ရာ၏၊ အၾကင္သူသည္ကား ၀ိပႆ နာပြားမ်ားေသာစိတ္႐ွိေသာ ရဟန္းတို႔အား တစ္ၾကိမ္တစ္ခါမွ် ပူေဇာ္ရာ၏၊ ထိုသူတို႔၏ ပူေဇာ္ျခင္း ႏွစ္မ်ဳိးတို႔တြင္ ထို၀ိ ပႆနာပြားမ်ားေသာ ရဟန္းတို႔အား တစ္ခဏမွ် ပူေဇာ္ျခင္းသည္သာျမတ္၏၊ အႏွစ္တစ္ရာပတ္လံုး ပူေဇာ္ျခင္းသည္ မျမတ္။

107. If a man for a hundred years should worship the sacred fire in the forest, and if another only for a moment paid reverence to a Noble One who is virtuous and practicing vipassana meditation, this moment would have greater value than a hundred years of making sacrifices.

၁၀၈။ ယံကိဥၥိ ယိ႒ံ ၀ ဟုတံ ၀ ေလာေက၊ သံ၀စၧရံ ယေဇထ ပုညေပေကၡာ။
သဗၺမၸိ တံ န စတုဘာဂေမတိ၊ အဘိ၀ါဒနာ ဥဇၨဳဂေတသု ေသေယ်ာ။

၁၀၈။ ေလာက၌ေကာင္းမႈကို လုိလားငဲ့ကြက္ေသာသူသည္ ယဇ္ၾကီးပူေဇာ္ျခင္းကိုလည္းေကာင္း၊ ယဇ္ငယ္ပူေဇာ္ျခင္းကိုလည္းေကာင္း တစ္ႏွစ္ပတ္လံုး ပူေဇာ္ရာ၏၊ ထိုပူေဇာ္ျခင္း အလံုးစံုသည္ ေျဖာင့္မတ္စြာက်င့္ေသာ အရိယာပုဂၢဳိလ္တို႔ကို ႐ွိခိုးျခင္းေစတနာ၏ ေလးဖို႔တစ္ဖို႔ကိုမွ် မမွီ၊ အရိယာ ပုဂၢဳိလ္တို႔၌ ႐ွိခိုးျခင္း ေစတနာသည္သာ ျမတ္၏။

108. Whatever sacrifice or offering in the world up for a year in order to gain merit, all of that does not reach a quarter as good as paying respect to Noble persons (Ariyas).

စတၱာေရာ ဓမၼာ ၀ၯုႏၲိ၊ အာယု ၀ေဏၰာ သုခံ ဗလံ။

၁၀၉။ အျမဲ႐ွိခိုးေလ့႐ွိ၍ မိမိထက္ ဂုဏ္အသက္သိကၡာအားျဖင့္ ၾကီးေသာသူတို႔၌ အ႐ုိအေသ ျပဳေလ့႐ွိသူအား အသက္႐ွည္ျခင္း အဆင္းလွျခင္း ခ်မ္းသာျခင္း ခြန္အားၾကီးျခင္းဟူေသာ ဤ အက်ဳိးထူးတရား ေလးပါးတို႔သည္ တိုးပြားကုန္၏။

109. If a person has the habit of reverence and respects to the Aged who have virtue and faith in Dhamma, four benefits will gain to him: long life, beauty, happiness and strength.

၁၁၀။ သီလမ႐ွိ သမာဓိမ႐ွိဘဲ အႏွစ္တစ္ရာပတ္လံုး အသက္႐ွည္ေနရျခင္းထက္ သီလ႐ွိ၍ သမထ၀ိပႆနာကို ႐ႈေနေသာသူ၏ တစ္ရက္မွ် အသက္႐ွည္ရျခင္းသည္ ျမတ္၏။

110. Better than a hundred years lived in vice, without contemplation, is one single day of life lived in virtue and a meditation.

111. Better than a hundred years lived in ignorance, without contemplation, is one single day of life lived in wisdom and a deep contemplation.

၁၁၂။ ပ်င္းရိသည္ျဖစ္၍ ၀ီရိယမ႐ွိဘဲ အႏွစ္တစ္ရာပတ္လံုး အသက္႐ွည္ေနရျခင္းထက္ ၀ီရိယကို ျမဲျမံစြာ အားထုတ္ေသာသူ၏ တစ္ရက္မွ် အသက္႐ွည္ရျခင္းသည္ ျမတ္၏။

112. It is better to live one day making strenuous effort than to live a hundred years lazily and listlessly.

၁၁၃။ ခႏၶာငါးပါးတို႔၏ အျဖစ္အပ်က္ကို မ႐ႈမျမင္ဘဲ အႏွစ္တစ္ရာပတ္လံုး အသက္႐ွည္ ေနရျခင္းထက္ ခႏၶာငါးပါးတို႔၏အျဖစ္အပ်က္ကို မျပတ္႐ႈျမင္ေသာပုဂၢဳိလ္၏ တစ္ရက္မွ် အသက္႐ွည္ရျခင္းသည္ ျမတ္၏။

113. It is better to live one day seeing "the arising and dissolving (of mind and body)" than to live a hundred years not seeing the arising and dissolving.

၁၁၄။ ေသျခင္းကင္းေသာနိဗၺာန္ကိုမျမင္ဘဲ အႏွစ္တစ္ရာပတ္လံုး အသက္႐ွည္ေနရျခင္းထက္ ေသျခင္း ကင္းေသာနိဗၺာန္ကို ျမင္ေသာပုဂၢဳိလ္၏ တစ္ရက္မွ် အသက္႐ွည္ရျခင္းသည္ ျမတ္၏။

114. It is better to live one day seeing the immortal place, Nibbana, than to live a hundred years not seeing the immortal place.

၁၁၅။ ျမတ္ေသာေလာကုတၱရာတရားကိုမျမင္ဘဲ အႏွစ္တစ္ရာပတ္လံုး အသက္႐ွည္ေနရျခင္းထက္ျမတ္ေသာ ေလာကုတၱရာတရားကို ျမင္ေသာပုဂၢဳိလ္၏ တစ္ရက္မွ်အသက္႐ွည္ရျခင္းသည္ျမတ္၏။

115. It is better to live one day seeing the Noble Dhamma, the ultimate truth, than to live a hundred years not seeing the Noble Dhamma.

၉၀။ ဂတဒၶိေနာ ၀ိေသာကႆ၊ ၀ိပၸမုတၱႆ သဗၺဓိ။
သဗၺဂႏၴပၸဟီနႆ၊ ပရိဠာေဟာ န ၀ိဇၨတိ။

၉၀။ စိုးရိမ္ကင္းေသာ အလံုးစံုေသာ (ခႏၶာစသည့္)တရားတို႔မွ လြတ္ေျမာက္ေသာ အလံုးစံု အထံုးအဖြဲ႔ကို ပယ္ျပီးေသာ သံသရာ ခရီးသြားျပီးေသာ (ရဟႏၲာ) ပုဂၢိဳလ္အား ပူပန္မႈ မ႐ွိေတာ့ေခ်။

90. For the one who has completed the journey of rebirths, left sorrow behind, is free in all circumstances, and liberated from all bondage, has no more worries of life.

၉၁။ ဥယ်ဳဥၨႏၲိ သတီမေႏၲာ၊ န နိေကေတ ရမႏၲိ ေတ။
ဟံသာ၀ ပလ’လံ ဟိတြာ၊ ၾသကေမာကံ ဇဟႏၲိ ေတ။

၉၁။ သတိရွိေသာပုဂၢဳိလ္တို႔သည္ (စ်ာန္၀ိပႆနာတို႔၌) လံု႔လျပဳၾကကုန္၏၊ ထိုပုဂၢဳိလ္တို႔သည္ တည္ရာ ကာမဂုဏ္၌ မေမြ႔ေလ်ာ္ၾကကုန္၊ ဟသၤာငွက္တို႔သည္ (က်က္စားရာ) ရႊ႔ံညြန္အိုင္ကို စြန္႔ခြာလ်က္ ပ်ံသြားသကဲ့သို႔ မွီရာ တဏွာ ဟူသမွ်ကို စြန္႔၍သြားကုန္၏။

91. The mindful persons gird up themselves. They do not relish attachment. Like swans that leave their lake, they abandon one attachment after another.

၉၂။ ေယသံ သႏၷိစေယာ နတၳိ၊ ေယ ပရိညာတေဘာဇနာ။
သုညေတာ အနိမိေတၱာ စ၊ ၀ိေမာေကၡာ ေယသံ ေဂါစေရာ။
အာကာေသ၀ သကုႏၲာနံ၊ ဂတိ ေတသံ ဒုရႏၷယာ။

၉၂။ အၾကင္ရဟႏၲာပုဂၢဳိလ္တို႔အား သိုမွီးသိမ္းဆည္းျခင္းသည္မ႐ွိ၊ အၾကင္ရဟႏၲာတို႔သည္ ပရိညာဥ္သံုးပါးျဖင့္ ပိုင္းျခားလ်က္ ခဲဖြယ္ေဘာဇဥ္ကို သံုးေဆာင္ကုန္၏၊ ရာဂစသည္ ကင္းစိတ္လ်က္ ရာဂစေသာ နိမိတ္မ႐ွိေသာ နိဗၺာန္သည္ အၾကင္ရဟႏၲာပုဂၢဳိလ္၏ က်က္စားရာအာ႐ုံ ျဖစ္၏၊ ေကာင္းကင္၌ ငွက္တို႔၏သြားရာလမ္းေၾကာင္းကို သိႏုိင္ခဲသကဲ့သို႔ ထိုရဟႏၲာပုဂၢဳိလ္တုိ႔၏ သြားရာကို သိႏုိင္ခဲ၏။

92. The venerable Arahants who have laid up no storage, who live on recognized food, with perfect knowledge, whose sphere is emptiness and liberation, are hard to track, like birds in the sky where there is no track.

၉၃။ ယႆာသ၀ါ ပရိကၡီဏာ၊ အာဟာေရ စ အနိႆိေတာ။
သုညေတာ အနိမိေတၱာ စ၊ ၀ိေမာေကၡာ ယႆ ေဂါစေရာ။
အာကာေသ၀ သကုႏၲာနံ၊ ပဒံ တႆ ဒုရႏၷယံ။

၉၃။ အၾကင္ပုဂၢဳိလ္တို႔အား အာသေ၀ါကုန္ခန္း၏၊ အစာအဟာရ၌လည္း (တဏွာဒိ႒ိျဖင့္) စြဲမွီျခင္း မ႐ွိ၊ ရာဂစသည္ ဆိတ္သုန္းေသာ ရာဂစေသာ နိမိတ္မ႐ွိေသာ နိဗၺာန္သည္ အၾကင္ရဟႏၲာ ပုဂၢဳိလ္၏ က်က္စားရာအာ႐ုံျဖစ္၏၊ ေကာင္းကင္၌ငွက္တို႔၏ ေျခရာကို မသိႏုိင္သကဲ့သို႔ ထိုရဟႏၲာပုဂၢဳိလ္၏ ေျခရာဟူေသာလမ္းေၾကာင္းကို မသိႏုိင္။

93. The venerable Arahants whose compulsions are gone, who have no passions on food, whose sphere is emptiness, signlessness, and liberation, are hard to track, like birds whose tracks are unknown in the sky.

၉၄။ ယႆိႁႏၵိယာနိ သမထဂၤတာနိ၊ အႆာ ယထာ သာရထိနာ သုဒႏၲာ။
ပဟီနမာနႆ အနာသ၀ႆ၊ ေဒ၀ါပိ တႆ ပိဟယႏၲိ တာဒိေနာ။

၉၄။ ရထားထိန္း ေကာင္းစြာဆံုးမျပီးေသာျမင္းတို႔သည္ ျငိမ္သက္တည္ၾကည္ကုန္သကဲ့သို႔ အၾကင္ ရဟႏၲာပုဂၢဳိလ္၏ ဣေႁႏၵ(ေျခာက္ပါး)တုိ႔သည္ ျငိမ္သက္ တည္ၾကည္ျခင္းသို႔ ေရာက္ကုန္၏၊ မာနကိုပယ္ျပီးေသာ အာသေ၀ါမ႐ွိေသာ တာဒိဂုဏ္ႏွင့္ျပည့္စံုေသာ ထိုရဟႏၲာပုဂၢဳိလ္အား နတ္တို႔သည္လည္း ခ်စ္ျမတ္ႏုိုးကုန္၏။

94. The venerable Arahant who wisely controls his senses as horses well trained by a good driver, and who is free from lower passions and pride, is admired even by devas (gods).

၉၅။ ပထ၀ိသေမာ ေနာ ၀ိ႐ုဇၥၽတိ၊ ဣႏၵခိလုပေမာ တာဒိ သုဗၺေတာ။
ရဟေဒါ၀ အေပတကဒၵေမာ၊ သံသာရာ န ဘ၀ႏၲိ တာဒိေနာ။

၉၅။ တာဒိဂုဏ္ႏွင့္ျပည့္စံုေသာ ေကာင္းေသာအက်င့္႐ွိေသာ ရဟႏၲာပုဂၢဳိလ္သည္ ေျမႀကီးကဲ့သို႔ လည္းေကာင္း၊ တံခါးတိုင္ကဲ့သို႔ လည္းေကာင္း (သည္းခံေသာစိတ္႐ွိသည္ျဖစ္၍) အမ်က္ေဒါသျဖင့္ ဆန္႔က်င္မႈမျပဳ၊ ႐ႊ႔ံညြန္ကင္း ေသာေရအိုင္ကဲ့သို႔ တာဒိဂုဏ္႐ွင္ ရဟႏၲာသခင္အား က်င္လည္ျခင္းတို႔သည္ မျဖစ္ကုန္။

95. The venerable Arahant is tolerant like the earth, he is steady like a firm pillar, and he is like a lake free from mud. For such an arahant there will be no more Samsara, the cycle of rebirths.

၉၆။ သႏၲံ တႆ မနံ ေဟာတိ၊ သႏၲာ ၀ါစာ စ ကမၼ စ။
သမၼဒညာ ၀ိမုတၱႆ၊ ဥပသႏၲႆ တာဒိေနာ။

၉၆။ အေၾကာင္းအားေလ်ာ္စြာ တရားကိုသိ၍ ကိေလသာမလြတ္ေသာ ျငိမ္သက္ေသာ ေဖာက္ျပန္ ျခင္းသေဘာမရွိေသာ ထိုရဟႏၲာပုဂၢဳိလ္၏ စိတ္သည္လည္းျငိမ္သက္၏၊ ႏႈတ္အမူအရာသည္ လည္းေကာင္း၊ ကိုယ္အမူအရာသည္ လည္းေကာင္း ျငိမ္သက္၏။

96. The venerable Arahant who is liberated and gone to serenity by perfect knowledge (the Truth) is calm and also the speech and the action are calm.

၉၇။ အႆေဒၶါ အကတညဴ စ၊ သႏၶိေစၧေဒါ စ ေယာ နေရာ။
ဟတာ၀ကာေသာ ၀ႏၲာေသာ၊ သ ေ၀ ဥတၱမေပါရိေသာ။

၉၇။ အၾကင္သူသည္ သူေျပာစကားျဖင့္သာ ယံုၾကည္သူမဟုတ္၊ နိဗၺာန္ကို ကိုယ္တိုင္သိသူလည္းျဖစ္၏၊ ၀ဋ္သံုးပါး ၏အစပ္ကို ျဖတ္ေတာက္ျပီးသူလည္းျဖစ္၏၊ ကုသိုလ္အကုသိုလ္၏ အက်ဳိးေပးခြင့္ကို သတ္ျဖတ္ျပီးသူလည္း ျဖစ္၏၊ အလံုးစံုေသာတဏွာကို ေထြးအန္ျပီးသူလည္း ျဖစ္၏၊ ထိုသူသည္သာ စင္စစ္ ေယာက်္ားျမတ္ျဖစ္၏။

97. He who is free from credulous beliefs since he has seen the eternal Nibbana, who has thrown off the bondage of the lower life and, far beyond temptations, has surrendered all his desires, he is indeed great among men.

၉၈။ ဂါေမ ၀ါ ယဒိ ၀ါရေည၊ နိေႏၷ ၀ါ ယဒိ ၀ါ ထေလ။
ယတၳ အရဟေႏၲာ ၀ိဟရႏၲိ၊ တံ ဘူမိရာမေဏယ်ကံ။

၉၈။ ႐ြာ၌ျဖစ္ေစ၊ ေတာ၌ျဖစ္ေစ၊ နိမ့္ရာ၌ျဖစ္ေစ၊ ကုန္းျမင့္၌ျဖစ္ေစ ရဟႏၲာပုဂၢဳိလ္တို႔သည္ ေနကုန္၏၊ ထိုပုဂၢဳိလ္တို႔ေနရာ ေျမအရပ္သည္ ေမြ႔ေလ်ာ္ဖြယ္ရွိ၏။

98. In a village or in a forest, or in a valley or on the hills, wherever venerable Arahants dwell, that place is delightful.

၉၉။ ရမဏီယာနိ အရညာနိ၊ ယတၳ န ရမတီ ဇေနာ။
၀ီတရာဂါ ရမိႆႏၲိ၊ န ေတ ကာမဂေ၀သိေနာ။

၉၉။ ေတာတို႔သည္ ေမြ႔ေလ်ာ္ဖြယ္ ႐ွိကုန္၏၊ ယင္းေတာတို႔၌ ကာမ႐ွာမွီးသူ လူအေပါင္းသည္ကား မေမြ႔ေလ်ာ္ႏုိင္၊ ရာဂကင္းေသာပုဂၢဳိလ္တို႔သည္သာ ေမြ႔ေလ်ာ္ကုန္လတၱံ႔၊ ထိုရာဂကင္းေသာ ပုဂၢဳိလ္တို႔သည္ ကာမကို မ႐ွာမွီးၾကကုန္။

99. Forests are delightful; where the ordinary people find no delight, there the passionless will find delight, for they do not seek sensual pleasures.

တာဒိဂုဏ္= တာဒိဂုဏ္ဟူသည္ ေလာကဓံ႐ွစ္ပါးႏွင့္ ေတြ႔ၾကဳံေသာအခါ ေဖာက္ျပန္တုန္လႈပ္မႈ မ႐ွိျခင္းေပတည္း။
